Tina L. Izadi

Of Counsel

Tina L. Izadi brings almost 20 years of experience in employment law and commercial litigation to her clients. Tina has handled a diverse array of civil litigation in federal and state district courts and appellate courts, and also has appeared before various administrative courts and private arbitration.

Her solid litigation experience centers primarily on employer side-employment and civil rights law, where she has developed a reputation for being a strong advocate and a persuasive writer. She also serves as external general counsel for several businesses. Clients rely on Tina to assist them in identifying, troubleshooting, and solving problems while minimizing any potential risk.

Tina also has extensive experience in federal and state privacy laws related to medical information, mental health law, and related issues. She is a go-to resource for employers addressing medical privacy and mental health issues in the workplace.

Representative Matters

  • Developing business and employment policies for businesses and nonprofit organizations to minimize their legal risk, and training management on those policies
  • Counseling employers on compliant and best practices in the workplace, including specific counseling on responding to employment matters, such as requests for accommodation and complaints of harassment, employee discipline and terminations, wage-and-hour issues, and non-profit compliance
  • Defending businesses, executives, and management-level employees against discrimination charges, other statutory claims, and lawsuits brought by employees
  • Responding to inquiries, audits, and charges brought by government agencies challenging the employment and business practices of specific small business and organizations
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts on behalf of businesses
  • Advocating and prosecuting claims on behalf of clients in litigation
  • Providing outsourced general counsel services for businesses
