Meredith is a court room tested litigator with over 15 years of experience in taking commercial disputes to verdict in both state and federal court. And in the age of the disappearing jury trial, one Oklahoma Jury Verdict Report noted that Meredith was trying more cases than any other outside counsel in her field in Oklahoma.
Meredith’s client service philosophy is to be client centered. In complex litigation, a “win” can include factors both in and outside the courtroom. Meredith makes sure that the litigation strategy tracks the business strategy of her client. Although Meredith is a trial lawyer, her first priority remains the pretrial evaluation process. While most lawyers can perform a competent claims analysis, Meredith’s trial experience gives her clients an edge in evaluating exposure, assessing how a jury will view the facts, identifying key risks and the critical path to achieving her client’s objectives in the case.
Prior to attending the University of Tulsa College of Law, Meredith earned her bachelor’s degree at Oklahoma State University. Meredith concentrates her practice in insurance and commercial litigation. She has particular experience in coverage disputes, first party claims and extracontractual bad faith litigation.
Meredith is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Since 2019 she has maintained the rare Martindale-Hubble AV Preeminent Rating and since 2014 has been named every year as a Rising Star in Oklahoma Magazine.
